About us

So you want to know more about us…

… why else would you click on about us?  Welcome to BIM Strategy, we love that you’ve taken the time to find out more about what we do here.  If you don’t find what you’re looking for on this page, why not contact us and we’ll do everything we can to help.

As well as providing a range of services to help you achieve great results, we are on a mission to share our passion for building information modelling and to get you as excited about BIM as we are.

BIM Strategy is proud to be the product of a highly-successful collaboration between Niven Architects, and Teesside University, but we’ve come a long way from our roots.  In 2016 we built a new team, moved to a new open plan studio with our Niven colleagues, and redefined our services under the leadership of John Adams, one of the region’s best-known BIM specialists.  It certainly was a big year.

Since then BIM Strategy has grown into an indispensable partner for businesses across the construction industry, with a special focus clients, contractors and manufacturers. We believe this is all down to our blend of using the latest processes and technologies to offer pragmatic advice in a plain language approach.  Our honest and straightforward approach has seen us featured in leading magazines BIM+, Construction Manager, and ADF.

Beyond our innovative construction industry work, we are also a leading voice in the Tees Valley digital scene and work closely with both Teesside and Northumbria universities.  We do this because we hold a firm belief that our industry needs to have our voice heard in the digital landscape.   We still like to see ourselves as a digital startup; this ethos keeps us agile and focussed on the challenges ahead.

If you want to know more, why not get in touch and see how we could give your business the advantage with BIM.
